I wish it could be more
Now I have to reorganize them. I have no more space, so I should stop collecting. I want to downsize my collection a bit.

We usually have the same problem Laci.
Each spring, I'm buying seasonal plants and naturally they are fading . I don't like empty pots  and start to grow new plants. This is an endless cycle. But I don't know what am i going to do this spring. In and outdoor, I have no space. I should have more hooks at the ceiling  and transplant the greaniums to hanging pots If ı could find empty space at balcony ceillings :P

I use Clonex Gel and Root Riot . After 15 days roots go out the Root Riot. I think it is good choice to growing violets from a leaf.

Great place to chat!

EK-Nebesnaia Lazur' is so "sky blue"! I don't have this variety, but would like to have it.
I don't have Rob's Pewtter Bells too, and I must have it, for sure!

Great trail, too. Althoug a sport. The Confetti Trail must have fantasy. ;)

I'm also thinking about, that my Confetti Trail is a sport. It doesn't have fantasy bloom and as I saw none of the other collector either here in Hungary.

Hello Galina,

Galina wrote:EK-Nebesnaja Lazur' or Blue Dragon? Or something else?

I think my friend made a mistake. My violet looks like Blue Dragon as you said.

Are the foliage of Nebesnaja Lazur and N.Lazur Sports different?

These varietes (EK-Nebesnaja Lazur' and Blue Dragon) are very similar. But leaves strongly differ. At a EK-Nebesnaja Lazur' leaves are light, the beautiful form. At a Blue Dragon leaves are dark and the flower is hardly more dark.
N.Lazur Sport has a "curly" leaves and flowers.

I do not think so. What color is the reverse side of the leafs? Red or green? Blue Dragon has rot.

Dilara, I am almost sure that it is not Blue Dragon. It is much more like a EK-Neb. Lazur'.

Blue Dragon has a bit different flower, in my opinion, but I don't have this variety. Dilara, 15 days only?? Wow! That's quick.
I checked this Clonex thing, 50 ml is around 16-17 Eur here in Hungary and we don't have root riot. I think it's not worth the price to use it. African violet leaves rooting easily, not that fast that we can see it on your picture but it takes a bit longer without rooting hormone.

Blue Dragon should like this:

Thanks, my violet became nameless :) Leaves are different forum EK-Nebesnaja Lazur and the back of the leaf is soft green near to white, so not Blue Dragon. The flower is dark sky blue, thin sky blue near to edge , white then the green edge, Then his names is My Lovely Violet.

With flash:

This is near to his true colors.
