other stuff with violets

In the area I live people put things (they do not want anymore) out in front of the door step, attach a piece of paper that reads "to give away" or " to take away". I have given away a lot of stuff this way already. And look what I just saw recently in a box out there - this nice plate with violets. Of course I had to take it home (even if I already have way too much stuff, I just could not resist)

It is very nice love: , but it has European violets, Viola sp. on, and not Afican violets, Saintpaulia sp. anim:

Indeed, it's the European violet .... but I am afraid that's the closest we can get to African violets in terms of dishes :lool:
