Do you manage to keep them till next year or do you buy new ones each winter? I tried to keep one once, but although it survived a long time the bulb got smaller and it did not flower again.

I bought Amaryllis photo three years ago and blooms every year! I have other Amaryllis oldest that have multiplied in a big pot, but I never took photos of their flowers! Usually I buy them in flower nurseries, but then I let them flourish in their period, in the spring. My Amaryllis all live outdoors, even in winter, when the leaves are dried. In spring repotting them and put a little fertilizer, then do it all yourself! The merit of their beauty is only to Mother Nature!
