I do not know anyone who is growing it but I would like to pass on the Information.

P. crassirhizoma F. Wen, Bo Zhao & Xin Hong sp. nov.
It is found in the very South-West of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (PR China) close to the border of Vietnam

Rhizome: 1.0-1.5 (-4) cm in diam., internodes conspicuous
Indumentum of leaf blade: Adiaxal surface nitid, sparsely appressed strigose
Lateral veins: 6-8 on each side of midrib
Calyx: Narrowly triangular to narrowly ovate, 2.6-2.8 x 0.3-0.5 mm
Color of corolla: Pale purple to bluish purple
Corolla size: c. 3.5 cm long
Tube shape: Nearly tubular
Lips of corolla: Adaxial lip c. 6 mm, abaxial lip c. 8-9 mm
Filaments: 0.9-1.1 cm long
Anthers: Glabrous
Staminodes: 3
Flowering time: November to December
