Introduction

Postby Zeynep » November 30th, 2016, 3:47 am

Hello Friends,

I am Zeynep from SouthEast of England. I always had a manageable amount of African violets but recently I can feel an obsession creeping in! I don't particularly want to acquire lots and lots but I would love to have Arcturus (J. Eyerdom) and Frosty Cherry. Nobody seems to be selling them (a leaf cut) at the moment anywhere in Europe.

I find the forum quite useful already, looking forward to visiting again.

Have a violet day,
Zeynep

Hello Zeynep,

great to have you here in our forum happy02:

Seems we all have got the same feeling - African violets taking over our home, lol. :D
I used to have Arcturus but these days I am not so sure if I still have it. Due to lack of time I had to neglect my plants a bit and do not know what's still there and what's gone for good :| But I try to keep up and have started to repot all of them recently (not finished yet) and then ..... maybe a new list of what I have will evolve from it.

Happy growing,
Gabi

Hello Zeynep, you get Arcturus by Ivana at the Czech Republic.

Thank you Zeynep, I try to do 10 or some more plants per day .... pooooh, it's still a lot of work. It looks like I have to get myself (or the African violets) under more control .... they tend to grow in numbers .....
